Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and detail-oriented Drywall Supervisor to oversee the drywall scope of multiple residential projects in the Columbus and surrounding areas. As a Drywall Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely and high-quality completion of drywall installation, finishing, and repairs on multiple homes. You will manage a team of drywall installers, coordinate with project managers, builders, and general contractors, and ensure that all work meets the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead drywall teams on various residential construction sites.
- Oversee the installation of drywall, ensuring that all work is performed accurately and according to project specifications and timelines.
- Coordinate with builders, general contractors, and project managers to ensure seamless communication and alignment of project schedules, expectations, and requirements.
- Schedule and manage drywall work to ensure timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
- Inspect work areas to ensure that drywall is installed properly, safely, and in compliance with company and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise on the job site related to drywall installation and finishing.
- Ensure quality control and conduct regular inspections of completed work to maintain the highest level of craftsmanship.
- Communicate regularly with the builder/general contractor to provide updates, address concerns, and adjust the work plan as needed.
- Maintain a professional relationship with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed and adhered to on job sites.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Drywall Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry, particularly in residential projects.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members, clients, builders, general contractors, and project managers.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (company truck will be provided).
- Ability to travel around the Columbus and surrounding areas as required - Company-Truck provided.
