We are currently looking for a full-time – Senior Program Manager- TTA Starting at $65,000 – $73,000 contingent upon experience, education, etc.
Summary: This is a management position working in partnership with the Director of a federally funded US Department of Justice Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) Center around issues relating to reentry, particularly with and on behalf of corrections and community-based entities. In collaboration with Center partners and a staff of consulting/TTA managers, the director oversees the development and delivery of all consulting and TTA activities for Center grantees to ensure that action plans, individual TTA plans, goals, and milestones are fulfilled. This individual will work collaboratively with internal staff and external partners, grantees, BJA, and other stakeholder organizations. The candidate may be based in CHJ’s Chicago headquarters or work remotely.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Training and Technical Assistance
- Oversees internal consulting/coaching and TTA activities, including management of program managers/coaches. Working with the Center director and TTA partners, coordinates
- TTA/consulting activities and assigns individual program managers/account executives to grantees in developing action plans and individualized TTA plans? Ensures, with Center director and partners, delivery of appropriate and diversified TTA encompassing all partners/subject matter experts (SME) and expertise to all grantees
- Secures timely completion/delivery of quality contract deliverables, including working with grantees and partners on newsletters, briefs, and other deliverables through coordination with
- Center staff, subject matter experts, and external partners
- Provides direct consulting and coaching to grantees as needed
- Works with consulting clients, project partners, and BJA, cultivating positive, productive relationships and providing good customer service
- Oversees administrative project documentation, narratives, and budgets for consulting and training projects and contracts
- Oversees and ensures timely and accurate delivery of updates on progress of deliverables through
- the development and maintenance of appropriate reports and tools, as well as in supervision and team meetings
- Ensures privacy of confidential information and materials including proprietary business and protected client matters
Our Ideal candidate:
- Undergraduate or Master’s degree from an accredited college/university in criminal justice, human services, or related field preferred, not required.
- Minimum of seven years of work experience in related fields - experience in courts/probation and reentry highly desirable
- Ability to develop and deliver high-quality workshops and training representing CHJ professionally.
