Position: Full-Time Counselor
Location: Athens County Adult/Juvenile Outpatient

Position Description: The Counselor works under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor, s/he is responsible for designing and implementing client services in assigned areas that address the agency’s mission and are provided in a manner consistent with the organization’s vision and values. This is an hourly position with the rate depending on licensure, education, and experience, with hours and schedule established to meet consumer needs. This position is “non-exempt” from wage and hour regulations, as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor.
Required Qualifications:
1. Must have demonstrated extensive experience in the treatment and care of consumers who have mental health, substance abuse and/or trauma related issues.
2. Bachelor’s degree in social work, addiction studies, and/or other human service field is preferred.
3. Must be licensed by appropriate credentialing board. May be under supervision for licensure.
4. Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain automobile insurance.
