Service Department Supervisor

Tasca CDJR is looking for a self-motivated individual who understands process management in running a service department. Your dealership manufacturing experience is not as important as your abilities. We require 3 to 5 years’ experience in either top performance as a dealership automotive service advisor ($50,000-$120,000 service gross per month) or service management running a service department (3-6 service advisors and 10-20 technicians).

Skills Required:

• · Leadership & motivational management style
• · CDK DMS knowledge is preferred but not necessary.
• · Highly adaptable to programs and is willing to take initiative to learn and teach
• · How to manage and impact total hours & Hours per repair order
• · How to train and coach advisors for increased and strong selling
• · Excellent CSI standards are required with documentation.
• · Manage promise times & meet those times from the advisor's desk to the technician's stall and back to the advisor.
• · Collaborate with the Service Director consistently to maximize shop productivity and efficiency
• · Assist in training service advisors in processes and upsells.

Responsibilities:

• Have an intimate understanding of the service appointments are coming in each day.
• Ensure recall appointments, return work have the correct parts in stock for visit.
• work hand-in-hand with service advisors on their write up process.
• Offer assistance with service advisor on upsell work to ensure services are sold.
• Speak with customers who initially decline work in a means to have the work approved based on objection.
• Work closely with Service BDC agent to ensure calls are being made and recall campaigns, monthly/quarterly promotions from the manufacturer are being maximized.
