Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Production Quality Manager at Taspen's Organics. The Production Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the quality control processes in the production of organic skincare, body care, aromatherapy, and herbal products. They will ensure that all products meet the highest quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Production Management skills
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for organic products
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in process improvement and quality management systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
- Previous experience in the organic skincare or herbal products industry is a plus
- Experience with SOPs and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Knowledge of FDA requirements for production procedures
- Experience in food, skincare, or dietary supplement manufacturing
- Proficiency in reviewing and completing batch records
Preferred Qualifications
- Herbalist certification or herbal background
- Previous hands-on manufacturing experience with natural products
- Quality assurance experience in a regulated industry
Primary Production Responsibilities
- Manufacture natural skincare, body care, aromatherapy, and hemp products in a fast-paced environment
- Follow precise recipes and procedures with exact measurements
- Safely operate production equipment, including hot appliances and machinery
- Handle raw materials including herbs, essential oils, and base ingredients
- Clean and maintain production equipment, tools, and workspace
- Support packaging, labeling, and shipping operations as needed
- Assist with inventory management of raw materials and packaging components
Quality Assurance Responsibilities
- Maintain and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Complete accurate batch records and Master Manufacturing Records (MMRs)
- Ensure FDA compliance in production procedures and documentation
- Monitor quality control standards throughout the manufacturing process
- Conduct quality checks on finished products
- Track and document inventory of production materials
