Rhinory is seeking a passionate and driven Director of Sales to spearhead our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) sales efforts, encompassing Wine Club memberships, Tasting Room experiences, and e-commerce. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on a dynamic and expanding winery. You will be responsible for crafting and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth, cultivate customer loyalty, and enhance the Rhinory brand, all while collaborating closely with and reporting to the Head of Growth & Marketing.

Responsibilities :
Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Sales :Develop and implement innovative DTC sales strategies that capitalize on Rhinory's unique offerings, including rhino experiences, private tastings, and exclusive events.
Manage Tasting Room operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, point-of-sale (POS) system management, and compliance with all relevant regulations.Collaborate with the Wine Program Director to create compelling tasting experiences that showcase Rhinory's wine portfolio and educate customers about our sourcing and selection process.Organize and execute engaging DTC events and promotions to attract new customers, drive sales, and build brand awareness (e.g., wine releases, holiday events, themed tastings, partnerships with local businesses).Oversee Rhinory's e-commerce platform, collaborating with the Head of Growth & Marketing to optimize online sales, improve user experience, and expand our online reach.Wine Club Management :Lead the development and implementation of strategies to grow and retain Wine Club membership, focusing on acquisition, engagement, and loyalty programs.
Plan and host exclusive Wine Club events that foster a sense of community and provide members with unique experiences.Ensure exceptional customer service is provided to Wine Club members, promptly addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a high level of satisfaction.Analyze Wine Club performance data to identify trends, optimize strategies, and achieve membership growth goals.Provide guidance and support to the DTC Operations Coordinator in executing Wine Club initiatives.Collaborate with the Head of Growth and Marketing on all aspects of Wine Club, including strategy development, communication, event planning, customer service, and performance analysis.Requirements :
Passion for Wine and Conservation : A genuine enthusiasm for wine and an appreciation for Rhinory's commitment to rhino conservation.DTC Sales Expertise : 5 years of proven experience in DTC sales, preferably within the wine industry, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets.Wine Club Management : Demonstrated ability to develop and manage successful Wine Club programs, with a proven track record in member acquisition, engagement, and retention.Tasting Room Operations : Experience with Tasting Room best practices, including staff management, inventory control, and POS systems.Customer-Centric Approach : Exceptional customer service skills with a talent for building rapport and creating memorable experiences.Communication and Collaboration : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and partners.Technology Proficiency : Proficient in CRM software, POS systems, e-commerce platforms, and other relevant winery management tools.Wine Knowledge : WSET Level 2 or equivalent wine education is preferred.Physical Requirements : Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds regularly and perform tasks requiring physical movement, including standing, bending, and walking, for extended periods.To Apply :
