Food Runner/Busser

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and servers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner.
• Assist servers by providing support during busy periods, including bussing tables and refilling drinks.
• Ensure that all food handling complies with safety and sanitation standards.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and promptly.
• Help maintain cleanliness in the dining area by clearing tables and disposing of waste.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs and inquiries efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive dining atmosphere for all guests.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help both guests and team members.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
