Food Tour Guide (NYC) – Part-Time, Flexible & Seriously Fun
Do you love New York? Love food? Love meeting new people? Then this gig might be your dream job.
We're looking for an outgoing, energetic, and food-obsessed storyteller to help lead our weekend walking food tours through some of NYC’s tastiest neighborhoods, including Greenwich Village and Chinatown & Little Italy. Weekends are our busiest time, and we're looking for someone who can consistently be available to guide tours on Saturdays and Sundays.

Tasty Tours NYC is a fast-growing local company offering unforgettable food tour experiences to both visitors and locals. We highlight the best mom-and-pop restaurants, local legends, and the iconic flavors that make New York City so special.
What You’ll Do
- Lead 2.5-hour walking food tours filled with delicious eats, engaging stories, and local history
- Guide small groups (4–12 people) through vibrant neighborhoods
- Share fun facts about NYC’s history, culture, and hidden gems
- Talk about the restaurants we visit, the food guests are tasting, and how it's prepared
- Manage tour timing, food pickups, and guest communication before and during the tour to ensure a smooth experience
Pay & Perks
- Base pay of $92.50 per tour
- Additional earnings from guest tips and gratuities
- $5 bonus for every 5-star review you receive

Availability Required
- Must be available weekends between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM
- Occasional weekday availability is a plus
Requirements
- You must have (or be planning to get) a NYC Sightseeing Guide License
- (Please only apply if you already have one or are in the process of acquiring it)
About You
- Organized, punctual, and reliable — this is not a job for anyone flaky or chronically late
- A natural people person who enjoys meeting and connecting with strangers
- A confident public speaker and storyteller
- Comfortable managing logistics and communicating clearly with guests
- Curious about food and NYC history (you don’t need to know it all — we’ll train you!)
- Based in New York City
