What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flexographic Technician position at TASUS Corporation?
Job Purpose
- Responsible for setting up, training and operating Flexographic printing equipment according to written and/or verbal instructions, established company procedures, safety, and quality guidelines.
- Develop & Set-up UV Flexographic Printing and Converting Roll Label Processes
- Working with Flexible Printing Plates and Die Cutting Tooling
- Work with a Variety of Printing Films and Laminates
- Process Non-Printed Roll Materials Requiring Die Cutting and Weeding for Converted Product Requirements
- Ink Mixing and Color Verification
- Assistance with Equipment PM
- Adherence & Maintenance of TASUS Safety Policies and Practices
- Actively Engages 5S and TPS Principles in Everyday Work Practices
- Prefer minimum of three to five years flexographic printing experience or a combination of experience and training.
- Capable of setting up prototype and production processes using industry and TASUS safety guidelines.
- Being a team player capable of working with other team members and departments for continuous improvement and COQ activities.
