What are the responsibilities and job description for the Curriculum Coordinator position at Tasy Academy?
Tasy Academy is currently seeking a preschool curriculum coordinator to help support and enhance our school programs. We are seeking an individual with strong interpersonal skills. As the curriculum coordinator, you will be responsible for helping the teachers develop a better curriculum for their classrooms and therefore helping them with better classroom management. You will be responsible for evaluating children’s progress and discussing their progress with parents through online platform or via a face-to-face meeting. You will be responsible for engaging in activities that will enhance the school ratings. You will give tours to prospective customers. You will help maintain current accreditation and seek to acquire new accreditation.

- Comfortable with using desktop computers and software applications.
- Ability to promote the school on social media
- Sales and marketing experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Gregarious personality
- Knowledge of state minimum standards for childcare centers
- Strong organization skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Detail oriented and strong leadership skills
- Good listening and follow-up skills
- Applicant must have at least 2 years' experience in a childcare center
- Applicant must be able to prepare daily curriculum for children
- Applicant must be comfortable working with children
- Applicant must be able to work in a team setting and must be able to communicate effectively with parents and teachers
- Experience with special needs children is a plus
- Local resident is preferred
- Spanish is a Plus
Desired Qualifications:
- 2 to 5 years of experience
- Age Groups: Infant, Preschool, Toddler, Grade School
- High school degree or higher
- First Aid Training, CPR Training
