Responsibilities:
•Utilize your extensive expertise to consult on cost estimation for automotive components.
•Specialize in stampings, castings, interior and exterior plastics, electronics/infotainment systems, and tooling.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop accurate cost estimates and provide strategic recommendations.
• Analyze manufacturing processes to optimize cost efficiencies and offer consultancy on process improvements.
• Conduct thorough market research to stay updated on industry trends and provide clients with actionable insights.
• Present cost estimation findings and consulting recommendations to clients and internal teams.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Requirements:
• 20 years of experience in cost estimation, specifically in automotive components.
•Strong expertise in stampings, castings, interior and exterior plastics, electronics/infotainment systems, and tooling.
•Direct consulting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in cost estimation software and tools.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
•Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet client requirements. This may include local and domestic travel.
