Tatco Construction is currently seeking candidates for the position of Safety Specialist. In your role as Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for fostering and maintaining a strong safety culture that aligns with the Company's vision and goals. You will ensure that our employees and subcontractors work in a safe environment, adhering to all safety regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will have the professional experience and personal initiative to drive our safety programs forward with the level of excellence that has made Tatco Construction what it is today.

What you will do:
- Foster and sustain a strong safety culture within the organization, ensuring that safety is a core value for all employees and subcontractors.
- Develop, implement, and uphold safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and enforce safety compliance.
- Provide ongoing safety training for employees and subcontractors, ensuring everyone is educated on safety standards and best practices.
- Investigate and document accidents, near misses, and safety incidents, ensuring that all incidents are appropriately addressed and recorded.
- Stay updated on the latest safety regulations and ensure the organization adheres to all compliance requirements.
- Maintain and regularly update safety records and documentation to drive continuous improvement in safety practices.
- Establish effective safety communication channels across all levels of the organization, ensuring that safety information is clearly and consistently communicated.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000 w/ bonus opportunities.
Classification: This role is full-time / in-office and does require construction site visits.
