About the Role
The Business Development Director – Airflow Products is responsible for leading Tate’s growth strategy within the data center and emerging technology markets by expanding the adoption of airflow management solutions. This role will drive high-level business development initiatives, cultivate strategic partnerships, and influence market trends to position Tate as the premier provider of airflow solutions.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Growth & Market Expansion
- Develop and execute a national business development strategy for airflow products, aligning with Tate’s long-term objectives in the data center and advanced manufacturing sectors.
- Identify, evaluate, and drive new market opportunities for airflow solutions in data centers and other emerging technology industries.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs to position Tate as an industry leader.
- Guide R&D on product innovation and future development based on market feedback and emerging technology trends.
Relationship & Business Development
- Establish and nurture C-level and senior decision-maker relationships within key market segments.
- Expand Tate’s influence within the data center design, engineering, and construction ecosystem, including partnerships with consultants, architects, general contractors, and end users.
- Represent Tate at major industry events, conferences, and trade shows, delivering thought leadership presentations to position the company as an authority in airflow management.
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Drive revenue growth by developing and executing sales strategies to expand Tate’s market share.
- Collaborate with reseller partners, direct sales teams, and key stakeholders to support and enhance sales initiatives.
- Establish performance metrics and sales forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and revenue targets.
Product & Market Leadership
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Tate’s airflow product portfolio, educating internal teams, customers, and industry partners.
- Lead customer and partner training programs to showcase the advantages of Tate’s airflow management solutions.
- Work closely with marketing and product development teams to create compelling messaging and go-to-market strategies.
Additional Expectations
- Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
- Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
- Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
- Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System with their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Communications, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 10 years of business development, sales leadership, or strategic growth experience in the data center or building infrastructure industry.
- Proven leadership experience in business development, sales, or product management within the data center, airflow management, or building infrastructure industries.
- Strong technical sales acumen with the ability to articulate complex solutions to diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent presentation and public speaking skills to effectively represent Tate at industry events.
- Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced environments with a strong track record of expanding market share and driving revenue growth.
