Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with senior management and stakeholders to identify, define, and agree on project requirements, delivery timelines, and costs.
- Work with cross-functional teams, adhering to divisionally agreed processes, tools, and project governance.
- Create documentation such as proposals, business cases, project initiation documents, project plans, and change assessments.
- Take responsibility for project budgets and the monitoring of timelines, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with project teams, stakeholders, and impacted groups.
- Develop integrated project plans, implementation schedules, resource allocations, and cost estimates while monitoring project performance.
- Be accountable for reviewing and maintaining risk and issue registers, providing mitigation or remediation proposals.
- Compile and submit project status reports to clients, management, PMO members, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in science/technology.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar Certification and understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years professional experience in a software/IT environment, working with and supporting business systems.
- Project management experience managing mid-sized and large IT projects (up to and greater than $500k), to agreed budgets and timelines.
- Experience of working with cloud-based project management tools and solutions.
- Proven record of complex problem solving in an ever-changing project environment.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products, including Project, Visio, PPT, Excel and Word.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to influence at all levels.
