Main Responsibilities
- The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in our blending/packaging operations in Sycamore, IL. This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing various production and plant facility equipment.
- Key accountabilities include troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing equipment breakdowns involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
Accountabilities
- Maintain and repair production and plant facility equipment, including blenders, fillers, conveyors, and other machinery.
- Work closely with production personnel on needed equipment repairs and ensure seamless production operations.
- Set short-term priorities in responding to plant breakdowns and emergency situations, working on off shifts as directed.
EHS Responsibilities
- Support TLIA's EHSQ policies and procedures in routine, non-routine, and emergency conditions.
- Notify supervisors or EHSQ committee members of spills, equipment malfunctions, environmental conditions, or management practices that could represent existing or potential safety hazards.
