Tate Metalworks, Inc. in Roebuck, South Carolina, is now hiring a full time, steel plate plasma cutting and beveling machine operator.

About the Job

Duties of the Steel Plate Plasma Cutting and Beveling Machine Operator include, but are not limited to:

· Being trained in the company’s safe work practices through certification and use of steel plate fabrication equipment.

· Running a computer aided steel plate plasma cutting and beveling machine.

· Loading and unloading steel plate and parts from the cutting machine.

Work Shift:

· Monday-Thursday, (10) hours a day, (40) hours per week. 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Employee Requirements & Qualifications

• Metal fabrication/cutting machine operation helpful.
• Able to read a tape measure
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Kneeling, bending, and lifting
• Working on feet all day long
• Candidates must pass pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check.

Pay and Benefits

• Base Pay starts at $19/Hr (wage determined by experience)
