What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bakery Clerk/Cashier- Morning position at Tater Cakes Bakeshop?
9-15 hours per week. Primary days are Wednesday & Friday 8AM- 12:30pm. Occasional Saturdays as needed. Starting pay $16/hr tips.
This is not a baking or decorating position
Summary
As a Bakery Clerk, you will be essential in delivering outstanding customer service while assisting with the daily operations of our bakery. Reporting to the Bakery Manager, your core skills in POS systems, cash handling, and food service will ensure efficient transactions and a welcoming atmosphere. You will utilize your premium skills in customer service and sales to promote our delicious products, while your relevant skills in sanitation and kitchen experience will maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality. Superior level of customer service is expected
General housekeeping duties are required.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned such as packaging of products.
Applicants must be dependable, self motivated, friendly, and outgoing. Ambition is a key trait.
Must be able to work in a clean and safe manner; Applicants must be able to conform and follow New York department of health guidelines for food safety.
Follow all company guidelines which also includes no employment with competitors or other businesses that would create a conflict of interest (examples include but are not limited to: home based business that sells bakery products or working for another bakery) or use of cell phones during shift. You will spend most of your shift standing
