Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Daycare Provider to join our team. The Daycare Provider will play a crucial role in fostering childhood development through engaging activities and personalized attention.
Duties
- Provide attentive care, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to explore and learn.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development.
- Assist children with daily routines, including feeding, diapering, and personal hygiene.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging social interaction and emotional growth.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Support children with special needs by adapting activities to meet individual requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the daycare space to ensure a healthy environment.
Requirements
- Experience in childcare or caregiving is preferred, particularly with infants and toddlers.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles is essential.
- Familiarity with special education practices is a plus.
- Ability to educate children through engaging activities that stimulate learning.
- Experience working with students or individuals with disabilities is highly valued.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with children and parents alike.
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing demeanor are critical for success in this role.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is beneficial but not mandatory at the time of hiring.
