Role Summary
Supervise the daily cargo operation and complete daily warehouse, ramp, and aircraft inspections. Assist in training and accountability EAA Ramp and Cargo agents.

Key Duties
- Conduct a “walk-around” inside the warehouse to resolve issues with EAA backhaul mail. Conduct a “walk-around” on the ramp to resolve issues with cleanliness, F.O.D., safety or security concerns, and general organization. Conduct a “walk-through” on all the EAA aircraft resolving issues with cleanliness, of Seat Tracks and Seat Back pockets.
- Supervise daily EAA cargo operation. Complete attendance sheet, monitoring employee attendance and timeliness. Monitor EAA bypass, priority, and non-priority induction operation to ensure safe and efficient execution. Monitor aircraft loading/unloading to ensure safe and efficient procedures are being followed. Keep abreast of any EAA flight schedule changes that may occur throughout the day.
- Load Planning. Communicate with the Cargo Manger and/or EAA Operational personal regarding any special considerations for the day’s flights. Select the freight and mail for the day’s flights and enter totals on the Weight and Space Worksheet. Follow-up with the flight’s assigned pilot regarding any special considerations. Perform load sheets to ensure that all applicable paperwork and communication is being completed by the cargo agents who load EAA planes.
- Observe and report suspicious activity and/or freight. Physically inspect the different compartments of the aircraft (i.e. pods, top deck, etc.) to ensure that the plane is “secured.” Challenge unauthorized individuals.
Marshalling. Ensure all EAA Aircraft are safely marshalled in and out of the EAA Ramp Area. Ensure the EAA Ramp stays cleaned up, free of excess cords, ladders and safety cones not being used. - Communicate with other leads and departments regarding operation. Meet with cargo employees and Management regarding procedure changes, safety, security, and other concerns daily, weekly, and monthly. Meet with EAA pilot regarding special loading/unloading requirements, day-to-day load information and other concerns. Meet with maintenance regarding aircraft readiness, positioning, and general equipment squawks.
- Assist in training of EAA ramp agents and cargo agents. Train and review duties for new and current EAA ramp and cargo agents. Provide applicable equipment training for all employees as needed. Train and review general operations duties for all new and current cargo employees.
- Assist Customer Service Agents during high volume freight intake periods. Complete Take Flite for small orders when needed. Tag and store shipments for transportation.
- Ensure personnel/visitors are conforming to airport security guidelines. Observe and report suspicious activity and/or freight. Challenge unauthorized individuals. Ensure that all EAC employees are wearing their airport badge.
- Conduct annual reviews of employees and forward to the Cargo Supervisor. Assist in disciplining customer service employees. Discreetly perform informal disciplinary action with employees when needed. Inform the Cargo Supervisor of any employees who may need formal disciplinary action. Act as a witness to formal disciplinary procedures performed by the Cargo Supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned to include assisting other Everts Air departments.
