What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Analyst (Excel Automaton Project) position at Tatum by Randstad?
Tatum by Randstad is recruiting for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst with expert-level MS Excel skills for a Las Vegas-based gaming/hospitality company. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of accounting experience automating various accounting tasks within Excel utilizing VBA to create macros and custom functions.
This is an immediate need and compensation is $45/hr. to $55/hr. with flexibility based on previous experience for this 2 month project.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize VBA to create macros and custom functions in Excel to automate accounting tasks such as data entry, reconciliation, reporting, and analysis
- Expertise in building complex financial models, conducting scenario analyses, and making informed, data-driven financial decisions
- Execute SQL queries on Excel files
- Create and modify scripts that automate repetitive Excel tasks using Office Scripts
- Enhance workbooks by connecting applications such as Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint to build workflows with Power Automate
- Use Excel add-ins to customize various spreadsheets that will streamline workflows
- Set-up data validation rules to automate Excel data entry
- Automate Excel reports with pivot tables and charts
Qualifications:
- 5 years of accounting experience with advanced Excel skills required
- Certified Excel Expert certification highly desired
- Well-versed in automating Excel; VBA, SQL queries, pivot tables, VLookup’s, financial modeling, etc.
- Experience with trigger-based automation tools like Zapier, Workato, and Power Automate are a plus
- Must be willing to work onsite within their Henderson office
