Tatum by Randstad is partnering a Phoenix-based private equity-backed healthcare partnership organization with their Senior Internal Audit Consultant search for approximately a 3-4 month long engagement. This role will play a key part in supporting upcoming audit activities and will involve hands-on accounting support, audit preparation, and process documentation. Experience working within multi-entity or healthcare environments is a plus.

Duration: 3–4 months (potential for extension)
Location: Near Scottsdale, AZ (Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 remote)
Compensation: $70–$80/hr. based on experience
Responsibilities:
Audit & Financial Support:
- Compile, review, and analyze financial data to ensure audit readiness.
- Prepare supporting schedules, reconciliations, and documentation for external auditors.
- Respond to auditor inquiries with timely, accurate information.
- Support the accounting team with general ledger reconciliations and adjusting journal entries.
- Assist financial statement preparation and other duties as needed.
Collaboration & Process Improvement:
- Work closely with finance and accounting teams to identify discrepancies and support resolution.
- Help document and enhance processes to improve future audit preparation and financial reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA preferred.
- 5 years of accounting experience, including direct involvement in audits.
- Prior experience in private equity-backed, healthcare, or multi-entity organizations is a plus.
- Proficiency in Sage Intacct and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis).
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
