What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Assistant Paralegal position at Taubman Dias Dominguez, LLP?
We are seeking an experienced family law paralegal or legal assistant to join Taubman │Dias │Dominguez LLP, a well-established family law firm in Marin County. We have a great office culture and the person who fills this position will be an important part of our team. Our paralegals meet with clients, prepare complex financial disclosures, propound and respond to discovery, manage calendars and assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, settlement conferences and trial. This is a full-time position with benefits, including health insurance, 401(k) plan, and vacation time.
Our ideal candidate will have the following :
- B.A. / A.A. or equivalent experience
- Minimum five years’ experience in and familiarity with California family law
- Skilled in drafting and reviewing legal documents and judicial council forms
- Detail oriented and able to organize and prioritize assignments
- Ability to work with attorneys, clients, and court personnel
- Proficiency with software programs, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe and billing software.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
