Tauper Land Survey, Inc. is seeking an experienced Land Survey Crew Chief and also a Survey Assistant in our North Oxford MA office. Competitive pay, excellent benefits and an amazing team.
DESCRIPTION: Survey Crew Chief Candidates must have experience conducting surveys including ALTA, existing conditions, Land Court, GPS, subdivisions, construction layout, settlement monitoring, lot stakings, etc. for projects including high profile developments, commercial, residential, infrastructure as well as lot surveys, plot plans and septic systems. Experience conducting boundary surveys and doing construction layout.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in fieldwork with at least one year as a Field Crew Chief. Experience with total stations, electronic data collectors and GPS equipment required. SIT Certification a plus. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for 8 hours a day. Exposure to all weather conditions: hot, cold, wet, humid, or other conditions caused by weather. The Crew Chief will work in the field with the survey crew. Field work is often performed on busy streets or construction sites.
