Overview:
The Compliance Analyst is responsible for conducting control testing, monitoring audit evidence, and reporting findings to the IT Compliance Lead team. This role ensures adherence to regulatory requirements, including Payment Card Industry (PCI), Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB), Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), and other IT-related regulations. Additionally, the analyst supports compliance initiatives and regulatory projects to enhance services for internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform continuous IT control testing to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Analyze audit findings and provide recommendations for remediation.
- Guide and support control owners in developing effective remediation plans.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential compliance gaps.
- Proficient in Microsoft Software.
- Participate in regulatory meetings to stay informed on industry changes and requirements.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance control effectiveness.
- Provide regulatory guidance to IT teams and stakeholders as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: At least 4 years of relevant experience in IT compliance, governance, or regulatory matters.
- Licenses: Must obtain and maintain a valid Gaming License.
- Certification: SEC , CISA, CISSP, or CIP.
