Position Title: Production Technician
Reports to: Manufacturing Supervisor
Position Description:
The position is responsible for safely and efficiently operating equipment assigned to them while meeting all customer and quality requirements in an advanced capacity. Individuals in this role are expected to consistently follow processes and safety procedures, ensure standard work and work instructions are documented and followed, and minimize waste.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)
• Produces precision units according to product specifications (SA1 and TL1) using schematics and other directions for assembly
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Ability to secure the workpiece in holding devices, machine table, chuck, centers, or fixtures
• Ensures calibration is up to date on all precision measuring devices
• Reads engineering drawings and/or work orders for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions such as fixtures and gauges.
• Observes operation of the machine and verifies conformance of machined workpiece to specifications.
• Document completed operations on the Production Traveler and update the PSR
• Perform all required general quality inspections
• Completes tasks by the provided instruction guide
• Notify the supervisor or lead of any machine or process-related concerns, including safety-related concerns and near misses.
• Attend daily safety meeting
Supervision Responsibilities:
• No supervisory duties
Organizational Responsibilities:
• Receive direction from Production Leads and Production Supervisors.
• Interact with other team members from various departments.

Minimum Qualifications:
• High School diploma or GED
• Proficient reading, writing, math, and mechanical reasoning skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to perform multiple tasks.
• Ability to react to changing demands and deadlines.
• High sense of urgency with a focus on maximizing safety & quality
• Works, supports, and communicates with team members to maximize job efficiency
• Ability to identify problems as they arise
• Consistently exhibits good housekeeping habits
• Able to operate standard hand tools
Preferred Qualifications:
• Understanding shop instructions
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Preferred Education and Experience:
• Prior manufacturing experience
• Previous warehouse experience
Travel:
No regular travel is expected

• Excel
• Windows
• Outlook
Safety and Housekeeping:
• Continuously required to stand
• Regularly required to sit and walk
• Frequently be required to lift and/or move up to 10 lbs.
