Key Responsibilities
- Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment following electrical code and blueprints.
- Detect and diagnose malfunctioning apparatus, such as transformers, motors, and fixtures using test equipment.
- Repair or replace faulty electric components, wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
Requirements:
- Mandatory 5 years in craft, including helper and apprentice roles, and minimum 2 years as journeyman working in industrial environments.
- Strong understanding of safety requirements and ability to read instructions in the correct use and maintenance of shop tools.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to write simple reports and speak clearly with a well-modulated voice.
