We are seeking a highly skilled Journeyman Electrical Craftsman to join our team at the Taurus Industrial Group, LLC. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, apparatus, and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain electrical systems, apparatus, and equipment, including wiring and conduit.
- Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus using test equipment and repair or replace faulty electric components, wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Testing and Validation: Test malfunctioning or broken equipment using test equipment and discuss malfunctions with other workers to diagnose the issue.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work meets quality standards and is completed on time.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in craft, including helper and apprentice roles. Minimum 2 years as journeyman working in an industrial environment.
- Education: Post-Secondary Certificate desirable - awarded for training completed after high school.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety procedures, and industry-approved trade handbooks.
- Teamwork: Ability to effectively collaborate with team members and supervisors.
