Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, and install boiler components according to specifications and blueprints.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on existing boilers and pressure vessels.
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Utilize various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding to complete projects.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure efficient project completion.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols.
- Document work performed and report any issues or concerns to supervisors.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Boilermaker or in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of welding processes and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to boiler operation and maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks.
