Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Journeyman Electrician - High Voltage to join our team at Taurus Industrial Group, LLC. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing high-voltage electrical systems, apparatus, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install high-voltage electrical systems, apparatus, and equipment, following electrical code and blueprints.
- Diagnose malfunctioning high-voltage electrical systems, apparatus, and equipment, using specialized test equipment.
- Repair or replace faulty high-voltage electric components, wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using specialized hand tools and power tools.
- Test malfunctioning or broken high-voltage equipment using specialized test equipment, and discuss malfunction with other workers to diagnose malfunction.
Requirements
- Post-Secondary Certificate desirable, awarded for training completed after high school.
- A minimum of 5 years in the craft, including helper and apprentice roles.
- A minimum of 2 years as a Journeyman working in an industrial environment, with experience in high-voltage electrical systems.
