My client is a large European investment bank and is seeking to hire an Executive Director Leveraged Finance Credit Manager.
Role Overview:
The ED will be responsible for leading the new business process on the credit side of the leveraged finance portfolio, working closely with teams in both the US and with HQ in Europe. This individual will lead credit analysts (in the US and/or in Europe), prepare credit packages, conduct due diligence, and manage the credit aspects of leveraged finance transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the credit side of the leveraged finance transactions- must have sponsored back experience
- Oversee and guide credit analysts in in preparing credit packages, conducting due diligence, and assessing project viability
- Support the development of new business opportunities
- Analyze financial models and sensitivity analysis
- Collaborate with senior leadership in Corporate Banking to align the credit strategy with the institution’s broader goals
- Manage and monitor the credit risks associated with the leveraged finance portfolio
This position is in Midtown NYC and is in office 3 days/week. Client is seeking a strong credit risk candidate with significant exposure to leveraged finance. The ideal candidate has 10 years of experience.
