Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the cash register, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
- Adhere to food safety and handling regulations to ensure a safe drinking environment.
- Collaborate with other staff members during busy periods, including banquet services or special events.
- Stay updated on drink trends and menu changes to provide informed recommendations to guests.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Bartender in a nightclub, fine dining establishment, or similar environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
- Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Experience with sales techniques to promote drink specials or upsell menu items is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
