We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage guest flow efficiently. Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service.
• Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assisting with reservations and inquiries.
• Provide exceptional guest services by addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
• Utilize POS systems, such as Aloha POS, to assist with order management when necessary.
• Ensure the entrance and dining area are clean and welcoming at all times.
• Assist in training new staff members on host/host responsibilities as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both guests and team members.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus; experience with Aloha POS is highly desirable.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.

Staff must have a 3 shift minimum with mandatory Sunday availability.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
