What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Tavern On High?
We are looking for an enthusiastic & experienced bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking and dining experience. Experienced bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations, while following restaurant recipes for our signature cocktails. This is a fast-paced bar, with 25 seats, along with service bar. Lunch shifts are alone on the bar, and dinner shifts are shared with another bartender.
Experience is REQUIRED, and a slower-paced bartender will not make the cut.
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ALL OF THE FOLLOWING SHIFTS:
WEDNESDAYS: 3:30PM - 10PM (CLOSE)
FRIDAYS: 4:00PM - 11:30PM (CLOSE)
SATURDAYS: 4:00PM - 11:30PM (CLOSE)
There will be opportunities to pick up other shifts as well during the summer.
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and beverages
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies (fruit, juices, paper products, etc)
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Clean barware throughout the shift
- Change kegs as needed
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Skills
- Resume and proven working experience as a bartender
- Excellent knowledge in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean

Pay: $15.00 - $65.00 per hour
