Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and readily available.
- Engage with guests, providing friendly and attentive service while building rapport to enhance guest relations.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service and ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly, adhering to all legal regulations regarding alcohol service.
- Assist in training new staff members on bar operations and customer service standards.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring that every guest feels valued and appreciated.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred, with a strong understanding of the food industry.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous for efficient order processing.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours while maintaining quality service.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- A background in food service or hospitality is highly desirable, emphasizing guest relations and satisfaction.
