Tavern on the Hill is looking for a few servers to fill out our summer staff.
Server duties and responsibilities
- Taking customer orders and serving food and beverages
- Ensuring tables are set and properly prepared for guests
- Handling financial transactions and processing payments
- Staying attentive to the needs of guests in the dining area
- Ensuring the food order is made correctly by kitchen staff and looks presentable for guests
- Following health code standards when handling food
- Performing shift preparation duties like rolling silverware, pre-bussing tables, wiping tables, and ensuring floors are clean
Summary
As a Server, you will be essential in delivering outstanding customer service and enhancing the dining experience for our patrons. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will utilize your core skills in POS systems, food safety, and food service to efficiently take orders and serve meals.
With a focus on guest satisfaction and a commitment to maintaining a clean environment, you will be a vital part of our team in a vibrant and fast-paced atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service and restaurant environments
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- ServeSafe Certification required
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Weekend avalibility required
