Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage guest relations will be key to your success in this position.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using the Aloha POS system.
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area.
- Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about menu items, specials, and reservations.
- Assist guests with inquiries or concerns, ensuring their needs are met throughout their visit.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Monitor dining room activity to optimize seating arrangements and minimize wait times.
Skills
- Strong guest services skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication abilities to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including food service protocols.
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred but not required.
- Proficient phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
