Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable part-time low voltage installation assistant to join our team. In this entry-level position, you will assist experienced technicians in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems, including security cameras, intercoms, and access control systems.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of low voltage wiring and equipment under the guidance of senior technicians.
- Help with the setup and testing of various low voltage systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures.
- Participate in training sessions to develop skills and knowledge in low voltage systems.
Requirements
- No prior low voltage experience required; we will provide on-the-job training.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical education a plus.
- Experience with power and hand tools required.
- Prior experience with skilled trades a plus.
- Strong willingness to learn and take direction.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must be able to arrive at work location independently. Work will be conducted throughout the Greater Philadelphia area, but will head out from Glenside, PA.
- Physical requirements: bend/stand/crawl as necessary; transport, set up, and use an extension ladder; lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Schedule: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 24-28 hours per week.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 28 per week
