TMA audit work gives candidates the opportunity to travel and experience multiple business types.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Auditors perform full cost reconciliations on tangible personal property tax listings filed with various state and local tax departments.
- Responsibilities will include audits of various businesses in that area for numerous jurisdictions across the United States.
- Involves local and statewide travel, including occasional overnight stays.
- Frequent interaction with taxpayers in person, via email, and over the phone.
- Four-year degree preferred, with additional preference given to degrees in Accounting or Business Administration.
- Need to possess good computer skills, with proficiency in Excel and Word.
- Excellent communication skills and good public relations skills are a must, as interactions with businesses and government clients are a daily occurrence.
- Candidate must also have the ability to be flexible regarding travel.
- Property Tax experience strongly preferred.
