Tax Management Associates (TMA) is seeking a highly motivated, professional, and positive team player to join our Administrative Outsourcing team in Lawrenceville, Georgia as a Personal Property Account Manager. This is a full-time, onsite position working with our local government client, the Gwinnett County Tax Assessor’s Office in the Personal Property Division.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assign values to business equipment / inventory, aircraft, and boats according to Georgia Code by processing annual returns and / or benchmarking.
- Compile and maintain the annual personal property digest by identifying and cataloging new accounts through online research and / or on-site visits.
- Process and defend appeals of valuation, including attending Board of Equalization hearings.
- Respond to inquiries via email, telephone, and in person, resolving complaints / issues and correcting valuation errors.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the database to ensure data integrity and compliance.
