Local Tax & Accounting Firm has an opening for a part-time Client Support Administrator for our North Myrtle Beach office. The Client Support Administrator role and responsibilities include:
· Working under the direction of the Tax Director/CEO to assist clients in locating and submitting tax support and accounting records to our Firm, using a web portal, obtaining signatures on engagement letters and tax returns, assisting with basic questions and scopes of work
· Preparing sales tax returns, payroll tax returns, and business-personal-property tax returns
· Monthly data entry, reconciliation, and adjusting entries for our small number of bookkeeping clients
· Assisting with correspondence to clients and tax agencies via phone, email, document portals, and professionally written letters
· Providing support to the office by ordering supplies, answering phones, running errands, communicating with vendors, and scheduling client appointments
· Performing client-related administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, copying, and billing
· Conducting oneself with the utmost in ethics and professionalism. Time- management and customer service skills are essential.
· Editing our blog online (monthly to bi-monthly), with the assistance of the Tax Director.
Occasionally we visit our clients off-site at their location, or take items to the post office or third-party vendors, therefore, a driver’s license is required.
It is preferred that you have 2 or more years’ experience working in an accounting, tax, or business office setting, OR a minimum of an Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or similar field.
Remote work is not currently available for this position. While that may be re-evaluated in the future, it is not a guarantee that we will do so. We do attempt to be as flexible as possible, and no overtime should be required for this position.
The position is available for a start date of February 20, 2025.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.30 - $25.45 per hour
