Responsibilities
- Represent clients in front of the IRS for audits, appeals, and collections.
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct financial audits to identify discrepancies and recommend solutions.
- Provide guidance on financial planning strategies to optimize tax benefits.
- Assist clients with accounts payable processes and asset management strategies.
- Analyze financial data to support tax positions and resolve issues.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations that may affect clients.
- Develop strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and communication.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of financial auditing principles and practices.
- Familiarity with Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) regulations is a plus.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, planning, and sales techniques.
- Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
