Duties

• Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Analyze financial information to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Utilize accounting software, including QuickBooks, to maintain accurate records.
• Perform 10 key typing for data entry tasks related to tax preparation.
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary documentation and answer questions regarding their tax situations.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to provide informed advice.
• Assist clients in understanding financial concepts related to their tax obligations.
• Review completed tax returns for accuracy before submission.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with the ability to analyze financial data.
• Excellent math skills with attention to detail in calculations.
• Previous experience in customer service, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with financial software and tools used in tax preparation is preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
