Job Title: Director of Corporate Compliance
Job Purpose:

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, execution, and continuous improvement of robust internal control processes, ensuring they align with industry regulations and best practices.
- Stay ahead of emerging risks, trends, and regulatory changes, keeping our compliance framework agile and adaptable.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to identify potential risks and implement proactive solutions, driving efficiency and optimizing operational performance.
- Ensure seamless internal control testing and foster close relationships with external auditors, control owners, and key stakeholders to ensure accurate and transparent compliance.
- Maintain a deep understanding of our business, policies, and procedures, allowing you to provide strategic insights and compliance guidance to the broader organization.

- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and own critical projects while fostering collaboration within cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to assess complex risks with precision and agility in a fast-paced environment, driving results that align with organizational goals.

- Ability to work closely with legal, finance, and other key departments to ensure comprehensive and cohesive compliance strategies.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Juris Doctor (JD) is a plus.
Experience:
- 8 years of progressive experience in internal audit, legal, or compliance industries, ideally within the tax or financial services sector.
- Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing compliance programs that meet regulatory standards and support business objectives.
- Proven success navigating regulatory agencies and managing audits, inspections, and inquiries.
- Previous experience in tax and/or debt relief is highly preferred, offering a unique opportunity to make an immediate impact.
Skills & Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of auditing principles, practices, and standards, with the ability to apply these insights innovatively.
- Expertise in financial and operational risk management, ensuring comprehensive coverage and strategic foresight.
- Mastery of U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and experience with the COSO framework for self-assessment and reliable financial reporting.
- Exceptional analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
