Role Overview:
As our Internal Communications Director, you’ll be the key player in shaping how information flows within our organization. Your role will involve developing communication strategies, creating compelling content, and ensuring that all employees are up-to-date and engaged.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Development: Design and implement internal communication strategies that reflect our company culture and objectives.
- Content Creation: Produce engaging content for newsletters, emails, the intranet, digital signage, and social media.
- Collaboration: Work with different departments to gather information and insights for internal communication efforts.
- Timely Execution: Ensure communication materials and campaigns are delivered on schedule.
- Impact Analysis: Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication initiatives using metrics and feedback.
- Advisory Role: Provide strategic counsel to senior management on internal communication matters, including crisis communication and change management.
- Event Coordination: Organize and facilitate internal events like town hall meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance employee engagement.
- Liaison Duties: Act as a point of contact between employees and management to address concerns and foster a culture of open communication.
- Industry Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve communication strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in internal or corporate communications, with strong writing and editing skills.
- Solid project management abilities and the capability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, intranet software, and social media management tools.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills for developing innovative communication strategies.
- Familiarity with change management principles is a plus.
- Experience in graphic design, video production, or multimedia content creation is desirable.
