The duties that the incumbent of the vacancy will be expected to perform. Duties Description The incumbent will assist in the following: • Design of print and digital materials to promote and educate internal andexternal audiences about Tax Department programs and policies. This includes, but is not limited to: - Reports, newsletters, publications, pamphlets, brochures, banners, posters,postcards, flyers/invitations- Logos, icons, informational graphics- Illustrations- Web/social media assets- Multimedia assets (i.e., animations)- Outreach displays- Signage• PowerPoint presentation development• Campaign development• Video/multimedia development• Revision of translated documents• Preparing design files for print, coordination of print jobs• Researching/organizing stock photography and other photo sources, photo editing• Ensuring compliance with the NYS Branding Guidelines• Project tracking and organization• Serve on project teams as needed• Other duties as assignedPreferred Qualifications: Graphic Designer• Experience with desktop publishing• Experience creating graphics for web sites and social media• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)• Fluent with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesignMultimedia Production Specialist• Videography skills including editing, animation, and post-production• Experience recording and mixing audio• Still photography and experience with Adobe Captivate• Experience with Adobe Premier and Adobe After Effects
