Duties Description Project Assistant SG 18- Training Essential Functions: • Evaluate current processes and develop recommendations • Compile and tracks performance data • Create procedure manuals • Train employees in new procedures, techniques, and methods • Update staff on operational changes • Schedule and manage enrollments for the trainings • Make oral presentations utilizing charts, slide presentations, and other visual support devices and techniques. • Travel, as needed
The minimum qualifications required for this vacancy. Minimum Qualifications *These temporary project positions are located in Albany, NY.Minimum Qualifications: -Bachelor’s degree (preferred in education) and 2 years of experience in training or instructing and developing training materials.-Strong presentation and communication skills.Substitution: Six years of specialized experience; associate’s degree and four years of experience.J.D. or master’s degree may substitute for one year of specialized experience; Ph.D. may substitute for two years of specialized experience. These temporary project positions have been approved by Civil Service to 7/31/26. Positions may be extended after this date based on operational needs and Civil Service approval.
