Opportunity for Impact

As a Senior Product Manager at Taxbit, you should be passionate about software and people. You manage our product lifecycle and are at the forefront of solving some of the most complex problems in the fintech world. You will play a crucial role on our product team, delivering exceptional software functionality for our partners and clients. You will be a key stakeholder in developing the long-term roadmap and strategy for the product and business. 

The ideal candidate has experience and is highly skilled at product strategy, iterating on data-driven insights, rapid hypotheses testing, and effective product marketing. You will collaborate closely with the product development team and other departments to drive successful outcomes. We value your ability to quickly learn new domains (such as tax and accounting lingo, cryptocurrency, etc.) and your passion for ensuring our clients have the best possible experience. A 'do-whatever-it-takes' mentality and a dedication to delivering outstanding results are essential for this role.

This role will specifically be accountable for multiple product areas within our accounting subledger product - which is the industry’s leading financial reporting and corporate tax solution utilized by the largest corporate adopters, infrastructure providers, exchanges, Bitcoin miners, and many more. The role is a critical contributor and leader within our accounting business as we continue to scale and support the industry growth.

Role and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design, engineers, SMEs, and other functions to ensure on-time and quality delivery of new products and improvements
• Maintain consistent feedback loops with internal stakeholders and users of the product to gather ideas for unmet needs and guide future roadmap 
• Distill ambitious goals into tangible requirements and milestones for the team
• Scope features and develop a transparent product roadmap that aligns with business objectives and integrates into a product vision
• Track and measure metrics to evaluate the impact of a specific feature and analyze product data to derive insights to assist in the prioritization and post-release optimization of products
• Address and respond to issues raised during the rollout & maintenance of specific features and general prioritization and triage of issues for a product
• Communicate product updates to stakeholders, assist with early releases/launches, and participate in customer-facing product demos
• Create product overviews for support and community while maintaining public and internal knowledge bases

Professional Qualifications

• 8 years of total professional experience with 5 years of product management or technical product management experience
• Experience developing longer term strategy and vision and breaking down into quarterly OKRs. 
• Experience working with users that are of a highly technical background (e.g. software engineers, SMEs, and leadership team members)
• Ability to distinguish opinion from fact with a data-driven approach using data analytics and product insights collection
• Strong technical knowledge of cloud technologies and ability to work effectively with engineers on high-level system architectures
• Stakeholder and project management experience including the ability to manage projects, deadlines, and handle prioritization with competing pressures
• Understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) from ideation through sunset where scope may not be clearly defined and the problem space may shift

Personal Characteristics: 

• Finance, accounting, tax, or crypto industry experience
• Work independently to meet clear objectives
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Seeks leadership and accountability with ability to motivate teams

The base salary range for this role is $143,000 - $230,000. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits. Actual compensation will vary depending on various job-related factors, including, but not limited to location, experience, level, and job qualifications.
