The RMW Accounting division is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Tax Manager to join our team on a full-time basis at our Pottsville, PA office. With a reputation for integrity and excellence, we serve a diverse client base, offering a range of tax, payroll, accounting, and consulting services.
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join our team. As a Senior Tax Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing our tax compliance, planning, and reporting activities.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage tax compliance for clients
- Provide strategic tax planning advice
- Conduct financial analysis to optimize tax strategies - Ensure accurate preparation of tax returns
- Collaborate with clients to address tax-related queries
- Stay updated on tax laws and regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA or advanced degree (e.g., MST) preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in tax compliance, planning, and accounting, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Experience with tax provision software (e.g., UltraTax) and ERP systems (e.g., Practice CS).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing and motivating high-performing teams.
