Primary Purpose
As a Senior Claims Representative / Claim Manager , you will be responsible for investigating and assessing damage and loss claims.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Similar Position to a Pre-Litigation Claims Manager / Claims Manager or Insurance Adjuster.
- Daily claim review and accurate entry of required claim data into claims data base system for both third and first party claims same day as receipt of assignment.
- Within 24-hours of receipt of bodily injury claim assignment, contact and interview claimant and other involved persons to obtain missing information not contained within claim. For non-bodily injury claims, communicate with claimant and any other involved persons within appropriate time frame to obtain any missing information not contained in claim.
- Evaluate investigation results and make determination as to extent of company's liability, if any. Review medical treatment records / bills and complete required Medical Evaluation form.
- Negotiate and resolve claims in a fair and equitable manner, within designated authority level, in compliance with company's settlement practices, policies and procedures and conferring with management for any recommended settlement outside authority level for non-litigated claims.
- Subrogate against third parties to pursue risk transfer and / or monies owed to property / company.
- Perform other job-related duties as requested.

Nevada Property & Casualty Insurance License – Preferred
