**Position: Kitchen Staff**
We are looking for a dedicated, hardworking individual to join our kitchen team at a vibrant Vietnamese restaurant. As a Kitchen Staff Member, you'll play a key role in preparing fresh, authentic dishes and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. Responsibilities include prepping ingredients, cooking and packaging, and upholding our quality standards for each dish.
Ideal candidates are passionate about food, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Experience in a kitchen is preferred but not required – we’re excited to train team members who are eager to learn the art of Vietnamese cuisine.

**What You’ll Do:**
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, and quality standards are consistently met.
- Follow recipes and procedures to maintain high food quality and consistency.
- Uphold Tay Ho's safety, sanitation, and operational standards.
- Keep cook stations restocked, clean, and well-organized.
- Be able to stand and walk for the duration of your shift.
- Maintain a dynamic pace to deliver excellent meals to guests.
- Assist with deliveries and perform additional tasks as assigned.
- Wash kitchen utensils and cookware as needed.
- Cross-train across various areas of the restaurant to support growth and efficiency.
- Assist with ingredient preparation and any other tasks as required.
**Requirements:**
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- County Food Handler certification is required.
- Work closely with team members, especially during high volume shifts.
- Reliable transportation is a must.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work with minimal supervision.
- Must frequently bend, reach overhead, and handle kitchen equipment.
- Comfortable working in both hot and cold environments, as well as near open flames.
- Must be able to work in confined spaces and maintain constant communication with team members.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally sit, squat, or kneel.
- Ability to remain alert and work safely at all times.
